Business cards

29 variants · instant pricing · 1–5 day production

Business cards remain the highest-leverage print format per square inch in the entire industry: hand someone a 3.5"×2" piece of premium cardstock and they remember your brand differently than they remember a digital handoff. The format hasn't changed in a century, but the stock and finish options have multiplied.

Stock weight is the first and most consequential decision. 14pt is the workhorse — what 90% of premium business cards are printed on. 16pt is the silent upgrade: nobody asks for it, everybody notices it when it lands in their hand. 18pt and 32pt are 'luxury' tiers that signal premium without saying so.

Finish drives perception more than stock. Matte (or matte-laminated) reads as editorial and considered. UV-coated gloss reads as commercial print. Soft-touch lamination feels velvety and luxurious. Painted-edge cards add a colored stripe along the cut — a quiet premium signal that costs little to add.

Specialty stocks — kraft, pearl, linen, foil-stamped, suede — turn the card from print product into brand object. They cost more per unit but the perception shift relative to a standard 14pt UV card is substantial.

Frequently asked

What stock and finish are standard business cards?
Standard Business Cards print on a premium cover stock chosen for durability and hand feel.
What sizes are available?
Standard 3.5×2 inches in either horizontal or vertical orientation. Both fit a standard wallet card slot. Square (2.5×2.5) and slim (3.5×1.5) variants are available as custom die-cuts on the premium 14pt/16pt stocks.
How should I prepare my file?
Build at the final trim size (3.5×2 in landscape) plus 0.125" bleed on every edge — your upload size is 3.75×2.25 inches. Keep important text and logos at least 0.125" inside the trim line. Export as a press-ready PDF at 300 dpi in CMYK color space. Outline fonts before export to avoid font substitution.
How long does printing take?
Production typically runs 3–5 business days from file approval, plus shipping selected at checkout. Specialty finishes (foil, spot UV, painted edge, die-cut) may add 1–2 days. Larger quantities don't meaningfully extend production because press setup dominates short to mid runs.
Can these be printed on both sides?
Yes — double-sided printing is standard at no extra cost. Full-color on both faces, with the same bleed and safe-zone rules applied to each side.
What stock and finish are uncoated business cards?
Uncoated Business Cards print on 13pt cover stock with a recycled finish. 14pt is the workhorse premium stock; 16pt is the smallest perceptible upgrade; 18pt+ reads as a keepsake.
What stock and finish are linen business cards?
Linen Business Cards print on 13pt cover stock with a linen finish. 14pt is the workhorse premium stock; 16pt is the smallest perceptible upgrade; 18pt+ reads as a keepsake.
What stock and finish are aqueous coating business cards 14pt?
Aqueous Coating Business Cards 14pt print on 14pt cover stock with a aqueous coat finish. 14pt is the workhorse premium stock; 16pt is the smallest perceptible upgrade; 18pt+ reads as a keepsake.
