How it compares
- The finish principles (matte for editorial, UV for photo, silk lam for keepsake) apply across most paper-stationery formats.

What is printing on plastic printed on?
Printing on Plastic prints on 14pt stock.
How should I prep my file?
Build at the final trim size plus 0.125" bleed on every outer edge. Keep important text and logos at least 0.125" inside the trim line. For folded products, account for the fold position when laying out panels — the configurator shows the per-panel safe zones. Export as press-ready PDF at 300 dpi in CMYK. Outline fonts before export.
Are plastic cards really waterproof?
Yes — printed on solid PVC substrate, waterproof and tear-resistant. The print is sealed under a thin clear PVC topcoat. They survive a dishwasher (don't recommend the test, but they do). Lifespan in a wallet is essentially indefinite.
How long does production take?
Most paper-stationery formats run 3–5 business days from file approval, plus shipping. Specialty finishes (foil, spot UV, die-cut, lamination) add 1–2 days. Larger quantities don't meaningfully extend production because press setup dominates short to mid runs.
