What is matte finish poster printing?
Full-color posters printed at 200–300 dpi on standard text-weight or premium cover stocks. Standard sizes are 11×17 (tabloid), 18×24, and 24×36; large-format posters run up to 36×48 and beyond.
What stock should posters print on?
100lb gloss text is the standard for retail and event posters — photo-led, vivid colour, durable in a frame. 100lb matte for editorial or copy-heavy layouts. 8pt C2S (coated two sides) is the premium tier for trade-show posters that need to read at distance.
How long does production take?
Most specialty-print products run 5–10 business days from file approval, plus shipping. Custom-die products (custom shapes, custom boxes) add 3–5 days for die fabrication on the first run. Repeat runs of the same custom die are faster.
