Styrene Sign — 20pt styrene plastic — flexible enough to bend slightly without cracking, rigid enough to stand without a frame. Common for menu inserts, in-store hangers, and POP displays. Substrate thickness: 20pt. Standard sizes start at 18×24 inches and go up to 4×8 feet on larger substrates. Printed full-color at 100–150 dpi (rigid signs read at distance, so 300 dpi is overkill). Order online with instant pricing; we run print-ready file checks before going to press.
Styrene sign printing is perfect for clients who need indoor plastic signs. zprintz uses a thin PVC sheet for our styrene prints so you can roll them up.

How it compares
- If your install context allows flexible material instead of rigid, vinyl banners (8oz mesh or 13oz vinyl) are cheaper and ship lighter.
- Different substrates for different surfaces; the same logic applies to rigid sign vs vinyl banner selection.

What substrate is styrene sign printed on?
20pt styrene plastic — flexible enough to bend slightly without cracking, rigid enough to stand without a frame. Common for menu inserts, in-store hangers, and POP displays.
How should I prepare the print file?
Build at the final trim size plus 0.25" bleed on every edge. Keep important content at least 0.5" inside the trim line for rigid signs (cutter alignment drifts more on rigid substrates than on paper). Export at 100–150 dpi in CMYK for indoor signage; 150–200 dpi for outdoor (UV-cured inks render slightly differently). Outline fonts.
How long does production take?
Rigid signs typically run 4–7 business days from file approval, plus shipping. Large-format aluminum and Sintra runs (above 4×8 feet) add 2–3 days. Shipping is by freight on signs above 4 feet, which has its own timing.
