Description

Mesh Banner Printing printed on durable vinyl at 720 dpi for crisp type and photography. 8oz polyester mesh is a perforated substrate — wind passes through instead of pulling on the banner, engineered specifically for outdoor wind exposure. For outdoor use in real wind — fence banners, building exteriors, stadium signage — the 8oz mesh is the substrate you want. Welded hems on all four edges and brass grommets every 24" come standard; pole pockets are a finishing upgrade available at checkout.

Mesh banner printing creates the best banners for outdoors. Print these high quality outdoor banners now by signing up with wholesale printer zprintz.

Questions

FAQs

What substrate is the mesh banner printing printed on?

Mesh Banner Printing prints on 8oz vinyl. 8oz polyester mesh is a perforated substrate — wind passes through instead of pulling on the banner, engineered specifically for outdoor wind exposure.

How is the banner finished at the edges?

Standard finishing is heat-welded hems on all four edges (no thread to unravel) and brass grommets every 24 inches along the top and bottom edges for rope or zip-tie hanging. Pole pockets — open tubes along the top, bottom, or both — are available as an upgrade for banners that hang from horizontal rods rather than grommets.

How should I set up my print file?

Build at the final trim size plus 2 inches of bleed on each edge for grommet clearance. Keep important text and logos at least 3 inches inside the trim. Export as a press-ready PDF at 100–150 dpi (vinyl prints don't need 300 dpi at typical viewing distances) in CMYK. Outline fonts before export. Avoid hairline strokes — the smallest reliable stroke on vinyl is about 1pt.

Will an 8oz mesh banner work indoors?

It can, but the perforated weave reads as 'incomplete' under indoor hard lighting. 8oz mesh is engineered for outdoor wind exposure — that's where it earns its keep. For indoor use choose a solid 13oz vinyl instead.

How long do these banners last?

Indoor: years of usable life with reasonable handling. Outdoor: months of full sun and weather exposure before colour fade becomes visible (UV-cured inks help but don't eliminate fade). For permanent outdoor installations beyond one season, plan to refresh annually.
