How it compares
- The finish principles (matte for editorial, UV for photo, silk lam for keepsake) apply across most paper-stationery formats.
- Card-stock principles (14pt premium, 16pt upgrade, 18pt keepsake) apply directly to greeting cards, invitations, and door hangers.

What is uncoated door hangers printed on?
Uncoated Door Hangers prints on 13pt stock with a recycled finish.
How should I prep my file?
Build at the final trim size plus 0.125" bleed on every outer edge. Keep important text and logos at least 0.125" inside the trim line. For folded products, account for the fold position when laying out panels — the configurator shows the per-panel safe zones. Export as press-ready PDF at 300 dpi in CMYK. Outline fonts before export.
What sizes work for door hangers?
Standard is 4.25×11 inches with a 1.5-inch die-cut hole near the top to fit over a doorknob. Larger 4×14 variants are common for real-estate canvassing. The die-cut hole position is fixed by the cutter — keep important content at least 0.5" below it.
How long does production take?
Most paper-stationery formats run 3–5 business days from file approval, plus shipping. Specialty finishes (foil, spot UV, die-cut, lamination) add 1–2 days. Larger quantities don't meaningfully extend production because press setup dominates short to mid runs.
