How it compares
- The finish principles (matte for editorial, UV for photo, silk lam for keepsake) apply across most paper-stationery formats.

What is uncoated tear cards printed on?
Uncoated Tear Cards prints on 13pt stock with a recycled finish.
How should I prep my file?
Build at the final trim size plus 0.125" bleed on every outer edge. Keep important text and logos at least 0.125" inside the trim line. For folded products, account for the fold position when laying out panels — the configurator shows the per-panel safe zones. Export as press-ready PDF at 300 dpi in CMYK. Outline fonts before export.
Where does the perforation run?
The perf line is typically horizontal, separating the keep-portion (card) from the toss-portion (notification or sales copy). Default position is 1/3 from one edge; custom positions available at quote.
How long does production take?
Most paper-stationery formats run 3–5 business days from file approval, plus shipping. Specialty finishes (foil, spot UV, die-cut, lamination) add 1–2 days. Larger quantities don't meaningfully extend production because press setup dominates short to mid runs.
