Rigid signs

16 variants · instant pricing · 1–5 day production

Rigid signs cover the substrate-based signage category: prints on inflexible materials that hold their shape without a frame. The substrate IS the product, so substrate choice drives every other decision (indoor vs outdoor, weight, durability, mountability).

Coroplast (corrugated plastic) is the lawn-sign and yard-sign workhorse — lightweight, weatherproof, and cheap. 4mm coroplast is the standard for short-term outdoor use; 6mm and 10mm handle higher wind loads.

Aluminum is the permanent outdoor substrate. 3mm aluminum holds bolt mounting, doesn't warp, and survives 5+ years outdoors. Used for permanent property signs, parking signs, traffic signs, and exterior business signage.

Foam board, Sintra (rigid PVC), and styrene are the indoor lineup. Foam board is short-term trade-show signage. Sintra is the premium indoor tier — smoother surface, more durable than foam board. Styrene is flexible enough to bend for in-store hanging.

Frequently asked

What substrate is a-frame sign printing printed on?
A-frame sidewalk signs — a self-standing two-sided print frame ideal for retail entrances, café boards, and event wayfinding. 4mm coroplast inserts swap quickly for seasonal promos.
How long does an A-frame survive on a sidewalk?
The aluminum or composite frame lasts indefinitely with reasonable care. The coroplast or styrene insert lasts 6–24 months in continuous outdoor use (UV fades the colour over months; rain and wind don't damage the substrate). Replace inserts as the colour fades; the frame stays.
How long does production take?
Rigid signs typically run 4–7 business days from file approval, plus shipping. Large-format aluminum and Sintra runs (above 4×8 feet) add 2–3 days. Shipping is by freight on signs above 4 feet, which has its own timing.
What substrate is a-frame sign holder printed on?
A-frame sidewalk signs — a self-standing two-sided print frame ideal for retail entrances, café boards, and event wayfinding. 4mm coroplast inserts swap quickly for seasonal promos.
What substrate is print aluminum signs wholesale printed on?
Rigid aluminum substrate at 3mm thickness — built for outdoor permanent installation. Weather-resistant for 5+ years, holds bolt-mount hardware, doesn't warp like coroplast or foam board can.
Can aluminum signs be mounted to a brick or stone wall?
Yes — aluminum holds bolt-mount hardware cleanly. Pre-drilled mounting holes available at quote (specify hole positions when ordering). For brick mounting use masonry anchors rated for the sign's weight.
What substrate is print 10mm coroplast signs wholesale printed on?
Corrugated plastic substrate, lightweight and weather-resistant. 4mm is the lawn-sign standard; 6mm and 8mm carry heavier wind loads. 10mm is the outdoor heavy-duty tier for trade shows and yard signs.
Is 4mm enough for windy outdoor use?
For lawn signs and yard signs in normal weather: yes. For high-wind outdoor installations (>30mph sustained): upgrade to 6mm or 8mm coroplast, or use rigid aluminum. 4mm coroplast will bend and eventually fail in sustained high wind.
